I’ve been thinking a lot about the interplay, and even tension, between my tendency towards monotropism as an AuDHDer and my almost compulsive need to multitask and “streamline” (esp when on vyvanse). I’ve been trying to make it makes sense assuming that the multi-tasking tendency is adaptive and inherent, but this framework, wherein multi-tasking is an often maladaptive attempt at efficiency, makes soooo much more sense. i’ve been hearing about this framework lately and I’m finding it pretty dang useful!
